Market commentary by expert

Despite the gradually growing role of the small and medium enterprise sector, large businesses in Poland – with 250 staff or more – still have highest IT outlays. The share of large enterprises in the total IT spending in Poland last year once again accounted for approximately 50%. In nominal terms, their IT investments equal a dozen billion zloty each year. It is not surprising, therefore, that this group of recipients attracts interest of the players on the IT market. Large enterprises are especially crucial for IT software and service providers, as they use advanced services more intensely and modify applications for their own needs, rather than stop at out-of-the-box solutions.
