Main goal of the reports’ series is to provide comprehensive presentation of current situation and future trends on market of networking equipment within three main subsectors – telecommunications operators, corporate and SOHO sector.

Each country report: Czech Republic, Poland, Romania and Russian Federation,  additionally contains general overview of the market situation in the region.

Each country report is divided to three main parts:
  • telecommunications sector,
  • networking equipment for corporate and SOHO sector,
  • profiles of biggest vendors of telecommunications and networking equipment.
Within networking equipment market for telecommunications operators part, four main categories have been identified:
  • infrastructural networking equipment,
  • IP-level networking equipment (routers of all levels, switches and access points),
  • market of networking equipment in operators offer along with service,
  • profiles of leading telecommunications operators in the country with investments in telecommunications and networking equipment.
Market of infrastructural telecommunications equipment in selected country is divided by technology and within each technology most important vendors on the market, market value and forecasts for years 2010-2012 are provided.

Same values have been provided for IP-level networking equipment for telecommunications sector and when possible market was divided to sub-segment basing of particular types of networking equipment (as operator-class routers or switches for instance).

Profiles of leading telecommunications operators with their investment in telecommunication and networking equipment has been provided for better understanding of their connections with vendors in third part. Market of networking equipment sold by operators in selected country as increasingly important part of sales of vendors has been provided at the end.

Second part of each country report is dedicated to overview of networking equipment market for corporate and SOHO sector. Main events on the market, effects of financial crisis and introduction of leading vendors on the market along with forecast until 2012 have been presented. Situation in selected sub-segments was analysed whereas main criteria is mainly product type.
