Market commentary by expert

"As shown by the PMR analysis, there are around 560 non-public hospitals with 5 or more beds in Poland, excluding hospitals which provide only spa, rehabilitation, sanatorium, nursing, addiction-treatment, nephrology services, etc. The number of establishments grew compared with January 2014, which resulted from the opening of new hospitals, from an increase in the number of beds up to five and more in the existing facilities and from ownership transformations. The highest saturation with beds in non-public hospitals in Poland is observed in the Lubuskie voivodship, where non-public hospital groups are very active (e.g. Grupa Nowy Szpital) and in the Pomorskie voivodship, where a considerable number of hospitals were transformed in 2013-2015."
