Market commentary by expert

Over the next years the market of medical devices in Poland is going to experience dynamic growth. We estimate that between 2013 and 2016 the market is going to expand by more than 25% a year. It will be prompted by adapting hospitals and clinics to EU standards, defined in the regulation on the requirements for the professional and sanitary conditions of a health care facility, issued in February 2011. The rapid growth will be possible despite the market barriers for business activity, such as problems with funding public health care, or flawed medical device reimbursement policy of the state.
