  • significant projects are planned in connection with preparations to the Euro 2012 soccer cup

Market commentary by expert

In 2010, IT product and service sales in Ukraine stabilised and even started to grow. In interviews and opinions expressed publicly, company managers have become more optimistic and confident in the sales growth in 2010 and in 2011. In 2011, we expect the Ukrainian IT market to recover growth. The Euro 2012 soccer cup, industrial cooperation projects with Russia and the recovery of banking financing are expected to drive economic recovery and, as a result, demand for IT. Two years of crisis led to an accumulation of significant so-called postponed demand for information systems, which is going to reach the IT market next year.
