Extract from this report

  • In April 2011, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev announced that 38 airports in Russia will be reconstructed or supplemented with new constructions this year.

Market commentary by expert

Owing to the efficient and intensive implementation of road construction investments, in 2011 the construction sector grew beyond the market expectations, raising hopes that the positive trend is going to continue in 2012 as well. However, the expected cuts in public spending, a lack of clear recovery in commercial construction, and turbulent global financial markets make the further steady development of Polish construction highly uncertain.
