Market commentary by expert

"In 2015, the World Economic Forum’s 2015-2016 Global Competitiveness Report ranks Kazakhstan 62nd, Russia 64th and Ukraine 82nd among 140 countries analysed in the report in terms of the quality of overall infrastructure. The quality of the Kazakhstan's roads took 107th place, Russia was placed in 123rd position and Ukraine in 132nd. Only the quality of railway infrastructure was placed higher, between 24th and 28th positions. Most civil engineering investments in all three countries involve road and energy infrastructure projects. Russia and Ukraine still suffer from chronic underinvestment in transport infrastructure construction projects, whereas Kazakhstan has succeeded to overcome this issue in the last few years."
