IT market in CIS countries 2009 - May 2009

During the first quarter of 2009 sales of IT products and services dropped in almost every country of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). The biggest CIS markets lost their key IT development drivers, including high prices of natural resources and inflow of low interest rate loans from EU banks. Demand for IT systems and hardware is expected to start slow recovery toward the end of this year. Leading CIS vendors also believe in a significant change of IT market needs.
