Central and Eastern Europe is an area consisting of 19 countries altogether and integrating 365 million people (nearly 1.3 times more than the population of the US) and a combined GDP forecasted in 2008 at EUR 2.903 bn, which creates an interesting investment area not only as a target market for new products and services but also as a sourcing hub or manufacturing location. This paper’s objective is to aggregate their particular economic performances so that it would present a single economic area.
