Construction will slow down a bit in Poland - November 2008

Despite turmoil on financial markets, outlook for the construction industry in Poland remains positive. While it is true that construction firms are more critical in their assessment of the conditions prevailing in the market than they have been to date, their attitude is largely due to delays in large civil engineering tenders, not to the financial crisis. Based on positive views of order portfolios and of the future financial standing of the companies, it is forecast that a correction in construction will be manifested only by lower rates of growth.
