Moderate optimism on the Polish construction chemicals market - January 2012

After two years of declines in 2009 and 2010, the Polish construction chemicals market saw a levelling off in the sector, which totalled slightly more than PLN 6bn (€1.5bn) in 2011. Moreover, construction and assembly companies are showing cautious optimism as to the consumption of construction chemicals in 2012 with single-family housing, which is less vulnerable to changes in the market situation, playing a major role behind these developments.

The results of a survey of 400 small and medium-sized construction companies conducted for the purposes of our latest report entitled “Construction chemicals market in Poland 2012 − Development forecasts for 2012-2014” indicate a fairly strong mood prevailing in the construction chemicals market in Poland.
