W najbliższych latach na rynek diagnostyki laboratoryjnej będzie wpływał szereg czynników m.in. przekształcanie jednostek publicznej opieki zdrowotnej w spółki prawa handlowego, coraz większa oferta prywatnych ubezpieczeń rowotnych/abonamentów oferowanych w kraju, fundusze europejskie oraz przepisy wymagające od zakładów opieki zdrowotnej dostosowania pod względem technicznym do przepisów europejskich. W rezultacie PMR prognozuje, że średnioroczne tempo wzrostu wartości sprzedaży wyniesie około 10% w latach 2009-2012, wynika z najnowszego raportu PMR Publications „Rynek diagnostyki laboratoryjnej/in vitro w Polsce 2010”.
