Do 2010 r. segment budownictwa mieszkaniowego w Polsce będzie rósł na fali wysokiej sprzedaży mieszkań na rynku pierwotnym w latach 2006-2007, skutkiem czego będzie wzrost liczby nowych mieszkań, a także duża dynamika wartości produkcji budowlano-montażowej. Jednak obecne problemy ze sprzedażą nowych lokali skłonią deweloperów do redukcji planowanych inwestycji, co może spowodować wyraźne spowolnienie w liczbie oddawanych do użytku mieszkań od 2011 r.
